From the Heart of Naples to Your Community

'DriftWooden started with one goal: to offer true Neapolitan pizza in Zurich. The Bianchi family opened our pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, familial business with time-honored recipes passed down for generations.

'Marco Bianchi', the brain behind our venture, perfected her pizza prowess during her sojourn across Italy, immersing herself with Neapolitan pizza maestros in Naples — where pizza took its first breath. After coming back to the UK, her ambition was to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to traditional practices and only the best ingredients.

Originally a modest pizzeria with just 12 seats, we have grown into a cherished establishment in the area while staying true to superb quality and genuine techniques. Our wood-fired ovens still roar, our dough is prepared fresh each day, and we persistently seek out top-notch ingredients.

Now, 'DriftWooden' is still steered by the Bianchi lineage, with the next generation at the helm of our fervent team. While we’ve integrated a few contemporary changes, we have kept the soul of our business intact: making luscious, original pizza that unifies our patrons.
